Protein shake questions
How much protein is in a shake?
Most of our shakes have 30g or 32g of protein, shown in each description above. If you want more, add extra protein when you order.
Is there a lower calorie shake?
Yes. Our chocolate, caramel and vanilla shakes come in a low calorie version, about 120 calories instead of 268. Ask for it when you order.
Is the protein vegan?
No. The protein in our shakes is not vegan, so please tell us at the counter if you have a dietary need.
Which milk goes in a shake?
Your choice of whole, skimmed, oat or coconut milk. Pick it when you order, at the counter or online.
Do you sell protein bars or food?
We're drinks only: coffee, matcha, iced drinks and protein shakes, made fresh while you wait.
Can I order a shake ahead?
Yes. Order online and collection times start about 10 minutes later. Collect from the counter at The Bee Hive Cafe, inside ION Strength & Conditioning.
Do I need to be a gym member?
No. The Bee Hive Cafe is open to everyone, not only ION members, and you don't need a membership or a pass. The cafe is at the entrance of ION Strength & Conditioning.
What time can I get a shake?
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6:00 to 14:15, Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 to 13:00, and Saturday and Sunday 7:00 to 10:30.
Where do I park?
Parking is free. There are spaces on site, a car park and street parking close by, and benches outside if you want to sit in the sun.
