Visiting the cafe
Do I need to be a gym member to visit The Bee Hive Cafe?
No. The Bee Hive Cafe is open to everyone. Students, people from the offices nearby and neighbours all come in alongside gym members, and you don't need a membership or a pass to pop in for a coffee.
When is The Bee Hive Cafe open?
Monday, Wednesday and Friday 6:00 to 14:15, Tuesday and Thursday 6:00 to 13:00, and Saturday and Sunday 7:00 to 10:30. These are the hours on our Google Business Profile, which always has the latest.

Yes. There are benches outside the cafe for sunny days.

The drinks
Which milks does The Bee Hive Cafe offer?
Whole, skimmed, oat and coconut. Just say which you'd like when you order.
Do you do decaf?
There is a decaf tea on the menu. For a decaf coffee, please ask at the counter.
Is there anything without coffee?
Our chai latte is caffeine free, and a babyccino is just steamed milk. Our hot chocolate and our berry, mint and ginger teas have no coffee in them.
Do you have anything for children?
Yes. A babyccino is gently steamed milk with a light froth, dusted with cocoa if they like.
Does The Bee Hive Cafe serve food?
We're drinks only: coffee, matcha, iced drinks and protein shakes, made fresh while you wait.
Which coffee do you use?
Hard Lines, the Cardiff roaster, and only Hard Lines. You can buy the beans to take home in our shop.

Can I order ahead?
Yes. Order online and collection times start about 10 minutes later. You can pick any time in the next two hours, up to 15 minutes before closing.
Where do I collect?
From the counter at The Bee Hive Cafe, inside ION Strength & Conditioning.
How do I pay?
In the cafe: cash, card, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Online orders are paid by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, handled securely by Square.
